🦀 George Rr Martin Winds Of Winter Reddit
As a book fan, and someone who frequents book fan places, I think most of us have completely given up hope of ever getting winds, let alone a dream of spring. The worst part is dance of dragons ends on just like cliffhangers everywhere, and all of these sick ass battles ABOUT to happen.

I love george rr martin but honestly some people think every single little thing he includes is a masterpiece worth analysing and that if he mentions a woman eating an apple in book one then it's going to turn out she's the most important character in the entire series 5 books later and its going to be foreshadowed every other page like no it
Like if winds came out and that the R+L=J or Aegon = Blackfyre theories weren’t true, people would freak out despite the fact that George never confirmed either of them. They may be, they may not be. Oh yeah, I get annoyed with the 'basically canon' stuff too. People deciding that certain things 'have' to happen.
PUBLISHED. With the development of new GoT spinoffs on HBO, it seems Martin's already short attention span will be stretched thin. Is anyone else getting the vibe that after waiting 10 years, the Winds of Winter is dead in the water? There are just too many story threads to tie together to start wrapping up the story.
I suppose eventually, but it is naturally taking longer than expected seeing as this new (relatively) doppelgänger has to make it look like the real Martin’s writing. I expect when it is released in 2050 after we’ve gone through 3 more GRRMs, it will be a massive disappointment
There are characters in the show that are dead in the books and characters that are dead in the books that are alive in the show. George R.R. Martin has touched on it before (in this update I think) and points out that there are tons of characters that don't even exist in the TV show that are fairly crucial to aspects of the books. 7.
